What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I received the message proceeding this text when logging into your server. I play with a few friends on the weekends, played Saturday/Sunday this weekend. Not sure why I was banned, played on you servers for a long time and haven't done anything wrong to my knowledge (don't really talk in game). I checked the various database and did not see my name flagged for anything.

One of my friends says it was HSK with an MG4 when I tried to join the server if that helps narrow logs.

No one I know. I have maybe 12 EA account friends and of those, 3-4 play this game and no one has that name. I can send you my friends list if that would help in private.

Your friends list is of no use to us. This player however is linked to you by your IP which is why you're currently banned as well.

That would likely be my VPN and the reason why you are seeing the same IP for two different people. If you prefer, I can play with the VPN off while on your servers.

We don't allow VPNs on our servers unless you're a VIP member, which would show on your forum profile which isn't the case here. If that's the case though, then yes, we advise you to stop using your VPN for the exact reason such as this: being linked to known cheaters.

No problem, most servers that I have encounter issued a kick "Due to VPN", first time experiencing this so will shut it off going forward. Sorry for the hassle.

Normally it would kick you, but since it triggered a linked account, it banned you instead.

I've since modified that link, let me know if you have further issues connecting. Also, you don't need a VPN on our servers. Your public IP is never exposed to any other player and it doesn't protect you any more than those without a VPN. We restrict VPN usage to donators/vip due to them being more vetted players.

Cool thanks. Yeah, for whatever reason using the VPN out of Chicago just yields far superior ping coming out of whatever datacenter they use versus my ISP locally. Appreciate it.
